Because only the last byte matters, I changed the instruction from lw to lb, load byte. This took so long to type lol hope it helped.
Taking advantage of how words were used to store bytes is really elegant! I'm not sure what has changed since switching phones. Went back and made sure that profiles were selected other than Global Default. Fix alternate stage loading for the training stages. For example, Battlefield 0E replaces Sector Z 01 so it's table entry is 0E000001 where 0E is the stage to load and 01 is the texture to load. It isn't automatic in ips patchers. Also, I'd love to see how you handled the stage load manipulation! This allows me to say what stage will be loaded and what texture will be shown. Make a tutorial on how to play this on your Wii.

I re-confirmed that other games are working. Reinstalled the app and tried again, game still loads to black screen. Maybe Samsung phones don't play nice with weird characters, and this causes some sort of issue when Mupen tries to read it? I would love to have the game working again. It almost looks like the install is getting corrupted somehow. I'm going to try to rebuild the 19xx rom, because at this point that's the only thing I can think of. . This menu allows you to access special settings for each port.
